Les champs d’intervention de Cyril Meunier vont de l’analyse du marché (offre : parts de marchés, modèles économiques…et demande), à la réalisation d’études ad-hoc (enquêtes, entretiens qualitatifs…) orientées « business plans », communication ou « lead gen » dans les secteurs du CRM, du Marketing digital, réseaux sociaux et médias sociaux, des logiciels décisionnels, de l’ERP et Logiciels de Gestion (RH, Supply Chain…), du Cloud Computing / SaaS, Gouvernance informatique mais aussi de la Santé : systèmes d’information hospitaliers.
Cyril Meunier a rejoint IDC France en Novembre 2008 en tant que Consultant et spécialiste du marché des logiciels applicatifs et décisionnels.
Chez IDC, Cyril est responsable de la recherche française portant sur ses domaines de compétences et participe à l’établissement des prévisions et parts de marché européennes. Cyril pilote de nombreux projets d’études ad-hoc français comme le baromètre de conjoncture Logiciels et Services Syntec numérique/IDC et intervient sur des projets européens. Il prend fréquemment la parole en tant qu’expert IDC devant des DSI, Directions fonctionnelles ou acteurs de l’industrie des logiciels et services.
Ses 13 années d'expérience dans le secteur des Technologies de l'Information comprennent l'exercice de fonctions Marketing et Commerciales. Devenu par la suite Responsable du Département Economie-Marchés de Syntec numérique, il a coordonné de nombreux groupes de travail de dirigeants du secteur et assuré la rédaction de plusieurs livres blancs portant sur différents enjeux clés de cette industrie.
Cyril Meunier est diplomé de Science PO Paris.
